First is the 2024 Oakland Pride parade held on Broadway from 14th to 20th Sts. I stood at 15th St./
Telegraph Ave. across from the ABC7 staging area to take these photos. Transit is included,
the Baby BART car wearing a rainbow top hat, one of the baby Gilligs of AC Transit, and
fuel cell bus 8019 wearing window signs for the parade. Many floats and particpating marchers
are also seen. A very happy event.
Next I drove to the Western Railway Museum to take advantage of a free ride with my new membership.
The car of the day was Portland Traction Co. Kohlman 4001, with pictures taken at the beginning terminal,
out by the Pantano Station turnaround, and back at the Museum terminal. I also drove out Shiloh Rd.
to take pictures at Gum Grove Station.
Late lunch at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers in Vacaville. Then I continued to my motel for
the night in Sacramento.
