Second day of my southbound vacation trip involves Santa Barbara County cities: Santa Maria, Solvang, Goleta, and downtown Santa Barbara.

Started in Santa Maria by photographing Breeze Bus route 20, which uses an old Santa Maria Area Transit ADA cutaway. Then I discovered pull in and pull out buses use Miller St. between the SMRT yard and the transit center. Got some New Flyer XE35s going into service as I waited for the first midday run southbound of Clean Air Express to Santa Barbara.

Next I tracked more XE35s on routes 1 and 2.

Then I visited Solvang to get nice sunny pictures of Santa Ynez Valley Transit cutaways, the old SMAT on The Breeze, and Amtrak Thruway.

Next was a stop at Goleta, where Santa Barbara MTD Nova Bus articulated 1003 was operating the 28 from UCSB to Camino Real Marketplace at Hollister and Storke.

Went downtown SB, where the Downtown-Waterfront Shuttle (line 33) is back in service on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Since State Street was closed to traffic (except for small electric carts), BYD K7M electric buses supposed to resemble the original trolley bodied shuttles loop via Chapala and Anacapa. I took pictures of the 33s, other MTD buses (including quick shots of New Flyer XE40 818), Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) coaches, and Clean Air Express coaches, even going to Santa Barbara St. for the latter.

Nikon D5600 and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G cameras yielded 363 photos.
