Leaving the hotel on Sepulveda Blvd., I stopped by the Pacoima area for more Metro and DASH photos.
Went to Santa Clarita for their buses. Includes at least one cutaway and an MCI on a commuter run to
Los Angeles.
Got pictures of a northbound Metrolink train to Vista Canyon at Golden Triangle and Center Pointe Pkwy. as I left Santa Clarita.
Got a southbound run from Lancaster at the railroad crossing of Sierra Hwy. at the Alpine community, south of Palmdale.
The third Metrolink train, again from Lancaster, is crossing East Avenue R in Palmdale.
Once in Palmdale, I went around various parts of town photographing a variety of Antelope Valley
Transit Authority BYD battery electrics, including
articulateds. Some of the coaches carry advertising wraps. Went to Lancaster for more AVTA buses, and got the
bonus of two Kern Transit ENCs, one on the 250 to California City and the other on the 100 to Bakersfield.
It was a long drive through hot fields and mountains to make it to Bakersfield. Not enough time to try for
local buses because I needed to check in (Padre Hotel) and get dinner.
Two meals depicted: Mama's Table in Santa Clarita offers grits (yay) with breakfasts, so I ordered sausage links
and eggs to add in. The other is Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers in Bakersfield.
Nikon D5600 and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G cameras yielded 248 photos including one cropped image.
