A drive to Monterey County to see the MST Trolley in service between the Transit Plaza and the Aquarium.
First step was to photograph a 59 bus to Salinas as it left Gilroy. Then, upon seeing an Amtrak Thruway bus
from San Jose, I followed it to Salinas for pictures. Also got some Salinas school buses.
Although I was unsuccessful in finding any electric buses in service, I did learn more of the layout of
Salinas, along with snapping passing photos on the 48, 42, and 41 lines.
Drove over to Seaside to my favorite place, Jim's Chinese Restaurant on Del Monte Blvd. for Mongolian Beef
with steamed rice. Parked in the downtown garage and rode two MST Trolleys out to Monterey Bay Aquarium
and back. Then I drove around along the route for more photos as they passed by.
Visited Pacific Grove for cutaway buses on the 1 and 2 lines. Got the 1 on Lighthouse Ave., the
2 on Ocean View Blvd., and both of them at Forest and David Aves.
