A drive up to Sonoma County begins with a stop in Marin City near the transit hub for Marin Transit
and Golden Gate Transit buses. Then it's on to Petaluma, where I photographed a southbound SMART train
behind the Lucky Supermarket on Petaluma Blvd. Drove on up to Santa Rosa and parked near Junior College
to get pictures of buses on Mendocino Blvd., both Santa Rosa CityBus and Sonoma County Transit.
A little later I got pictures, also in the sun, where Healdsburg Ave. turns to become B St.
Did a few fading sun shots on Santa Rosa Ave. in the south part of the city. Concluded after dinner by
taking photos of a SMART train at night at North Petaluma Station, then getting a southbound 48 bus
on Old Redwood Hwy. before it reached the 101. A brightly lighted gas station allowed that to happen.
While the old Orion Vs are gone from service, the Orion VII NG buses are running along with the El Dorado Axess
and the newer BYD electric buses.
